Chamber honors Hawks, Edwards; banquet celebrates 81 years

38th Annual Columbus County Industrial Golf Tournament is September 15

Golfers from across the area are invited to participate in the 38th Annual Columbus County Industrial Golf Tournament, hosted by the Columbus Chamber of Commerce and Tourism. The tournament will be held Friday, September 15 at beautiful Land O Lakes Golf Course on Bill Hooks Road off Highway 701 in Whiteville. The rain date will be September 22nd. N.C. Rural Center leaders visit Columbus County

The North Carolina Rural Center met with Columbus County leaders at the DREAM Center Friday as part of an 80- day tour to discuss the unique challenges and needs of each community and to work toward building an advocacy with the community and government.
